Members of the Canadian Army Veteran's group stand alongside CFB Trenton as the hearse carrying the remains of Private Terry Street, 24, of the 2nd Battalion Princess Patricia’s Light Infantry travel from the base along the Highway of Heroes to Toronto. At this repatriation, it was the first time I've stood outside the fence at CFB Trenton. The people stood at the fence in silent tribute to a man they didn't even know, but gave his life for our Country and us. I've said this many times, but each time you witness something like this - it's a feeling like no other. |
