Making History - Cruickshank Construction Ltd. employees Sr. Supervisor of Highway Maintenance Division Paul Phillips (with beard) and Supervisor Steve Savage unveiled the first Highway of Heroes sign in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 just prior to the Glen Miller Road overpass on Thursday evening shortly before 7 p.m. in Quinte West (Trenton).
There will be four signs along Highway 401 bearing the Highway of Heroes name starting in Trenton. Other signs will be at Highway 115 and Highway 401 (both lanes) and one in Toronto.
MPP Lou Rinaldi will be making an official announcement on the Cranberry Road overpass at noon.
